Karl is a reader in Cultural and Social History at the University of Portsmouth School of Social, Historical and Literary Studies.

A UK launch event for Society Honorary Life Member Dacre Stoker's new novel Dracul, co-written with J. D. Barker.
This event will be presented in association with the Dracula Society, but will be a public event not restricted to Society members and guests.
